Founded in 1987, this cooperative is a theatre and performing arts center, operating regionally-nationally through performances and residencies, education in and promotion of contemporary dance across generations and audiences as well as through production and circulation of performing arts in the national theatre network, and regionally-internationally through co-production and circulation of the cross-border Visavì Gorizia Dance Festival, and Pan-Adria. Seizing the momentum of the 2017 edition of NID Platform in Gorizia and Nova Gorica, with performances and panels, and with over 400 regional national and international producers, the cooperative launched Visavì Gorizia Dance Festival, the first cross-border contemporary dance festival, bridging a city once divided by border and system, but not language and culture. Cross-border and cross-generation synergies, from schools to families, continue to pave the way of contemporary dance through Pan-Adria, but also European Capital of Culture as Nova Gorica and Gorizia go from cross-border to borderless in 2025.
