With Matjaž Farič at the helm, this contemporary dance “fleet” has had a trajectory of decentralization, moving between the region's periphery and centre, between the region's centre of periphery and periphery of centre. Putting the “Pannonian” in Pan-Adria, the “fleet” has journeyed from its foundation as an artistic formation in 1999 to its transformation as an institutional organization in 2001, with operations, apart from contemporary dance production and a dance studio for children and youth, gaining wind with the launch of the international contemporary dance festival Front@ in 2006, and the international network of dance organisations Beyond Front@ in 2008.
